Science is a vast section of knowledge that is a pillar of many careers, thus making it important for students to be taught science in an informative and interesting way.

During a typical academic year, a science student could learn about biological systems, astronomy, geology, botany, zoology, and many more. The efficient transfer of knowledge regarding basic scientific concepts is a key part of our plan.

The goal of science and scientific teaching at York International Academy is to have students learn by relating science to their observable experiences and environments, in order for them to learn more easily and for their knowledge to last a life time. We provide students with problem-solving skills and habits, so that they are capable of understanding scientific concepts of any degree of difficulty.
