Why Come To YIA?

Student Scholarships

YIA honours those who work toward their dreams and study hard.  If you have obtained a high GPA in your final grade; and have achieved success in any art or sports activities in your home country you could be eligible for a grant/scholarship. When filling out an application you can add this information to let us know of your additional achievements. We would love to hear from you.

Computer Lab

One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his
brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections.
The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off
any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared with the size of
the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked. “What’s
happened to me?” he thought. It wasn’t a dream. His room, a proper
human room although.
This should be completely changed to something actually about a
computer lab! Bright future button at the very bottom – links to nothing

Summer Camp

YIA Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity for young kids and teens to:

  • Meet and make friends with other kids from other parts of the world
  • Meet active and positive role models
  • Strengthen their character
  • Learn more about nature and the Canadian lifestyle
  • Improve social skills
  • Learn to be independent
  • Advance self-confidence and self-reliance
  • Be active and learn new things

Online English Learning

The COVID-19 Pandemic has changed the world in so many ways, and education is no exception. So many schools had to shut down, and students had no choice but to stay home and study online.   Over 1 billion children (including young kids) ended up out of the classroom and into a virtual space. Consequently, education has changed dramatically via e-learning. At YIA, we help students catch up with the Canadian curriculum while they are in their home country.

We aim to make students ready for back to school while recognizing that we are taking the pandemic situation and all of its challenges day by day.

Safe Social Media For You

Multiculturalism is one of Toronto’s top strengths. When coming to Canada for study your child will have the opportunity to have experiences and be a part of different aspects of social life that may not have been available to them elsewhere. With Toronto being one of the greatest multicultural cities in the world your child will not only be able to connect with people from all nationalities but also have a more well-rounded education outside of the school system.

Once a student has graduated from high school they are then eligible to apply to colleges and universities here in Canada. This would allow them to further their studies and open many doors that a post-secondary education provides. Once they have attained their degree/ diploma they will be able to further experience the richness and diversity of careers available to them.
