In order to receive a student visa from Canadian Immigration, every international student requires obtaining a visa to come to Canada. Once you receive the letter of acceptance from YIA, then you will need to gather documents such as identification, proof of financial, and study plan. The applicant and their parents or guardian must prove to the officer that there is enough funding and support available for the applicant to live and study in Canada. Once the file is approved, the passport request letter will be given to the applicant to submit the passport to the visa office in order to obtain the student visa.
