Mr. Sean Fazl has been working in the field of education for 24 years and has earned his Honours Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees from the prestigious University of Toronto.
Throughout his career in education, he has had the opportunity to serve in various roles. He began his journey as a classroom teacher in 2001, held several Head of Department positions, promoted to Vice Principal with the public school board, launched a company to design and distribute thousands of math guides based on the Ontario Mathematics curriculum, and now has the honour to serve as the Principal of York International Academy.
His experiences afford him tremendous opportunities to establish positive working relationships with students, parents, staff, and community partners. Most importantly, Mr. Sean Fazl’s high degree of knowledge and understanding of the Ontario curriculum and policies set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education allows the students attending York International Academy to flourish within the Ontario academic system.
