As the Principal of this esteemed institution, I have the privilege of guiding and nurturing the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators. At York International Academy, we are committed to providing a holistic education beyond traditional academics’ confines. Greetings!
It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the Guidance Counsellor/ Assistant Vice Principal of York International Academy. I am truly honored to collaborate with everyone in our school community to strive for excellence in education.
I have been working in school administration, language teaching and student counselling in elementary, secondary and tertiary education for 24 years. With extensive knowledge of the Ontario elementary/secondary curriculum, IBDP,
post-secondary pathways, adolescent behavior issues and psychology, I have deep concerns for fostering constructive adolescent behavior, especially in support of academic achievement and pedagogy counselling.
My goal is to create a safe and positive environment in which each student can achieve success in terms of social-emotional wellbeing and academic accomplishments.
I look forward to working closely with all of you in areas covering academic concerns, college/post-secondary planning, career preparation and overall counselling. I am dedicated to helping each student succeed in school and life.
