You must find out if you meet the requirements for the program you are applying for like the language and if you have the necessary courses taken during high school.

You can leave and come back during your studies to Canada, but you must prove that you are enrolled in a university. After your studies have concluded you can apply for Canadian citizenship and each day spent in Canada counts towards half the time days up to 365 days.
The study permit costs $150 dollars and must be towards a designated learning institutions list or DLI which is a school approved by the government in the province or territory. Some Countries require applicant to submit his or her Biometrics and Medical Examination. In some cases, you may be required to provide biometrics (fingerprints and photo) at a designated application center. Additionally, you might need to undergo a medical examination to ensure you meet the health requirements.
After the study permit ends at these DLI you can apply for a post-graduation work permit if you need more time in Canada to get your Canadian Citizenship. This allows you to work and get more time spent in Canada. The Post-Graduation permit does not apply to all DLI schools so make sure yours meets the requirement for this permit.
