McGill is a university in Montreal Canada. The university was founded in 1821 and is a very old university and well-respected university. The university charges $2391 for students local to McGill, $7402 for domestic tuition and $29,200 for international tuition. The university has near 40,000 total enrolments in 2020. McGill’s program for financial aid to graduate and post-graduate students has a few requirements that need to be met before money can be given.
To get the financial aid the student must be enrolled in a full-time degree at the university, apply for and accept the maximum available student aid, be in satisfactory academic standing, and demonstrate financial need. Much of the financial aid is either loans or bursaries that help the student. The problem is that the loans must be paid back but have a much fairer repayment timeline and give the student more time to pay back. If you are an international student, you are not eligible for a loan if you have not completed more than a year of study.
